Introduction to the production area

Shoumei white tea mainly comes from the provinces of Fuding and
Zhenghe, in the Chinese province of Fujian. These areas are famous
for their unique climatic conditions and fertile soil,
ideal for the growth of tea plants. Fuding is located in a
high altitude mountainous region, with abundant sunlight and air
fresh, creating a natural environment that gives Shoumei tea
unique qualities. This tea is very
prized for its combination of shoots and mature leaves, and is
considered a rarity in the tea world
white.

Harvest season

The ideal harvest season for Shoumei tea is spring, in
especially in the periods around the Qingming festival (beginning
April). During this season, tea shoots are fresh and
are carefully selected to ensure that the leaves are
fresh and whole. Since the
Shoumei tea is made from a mixture of buds and mature leaves,
There are rigorous quality standards and
timing for collection.

Chinese infusion method

It is recommended to use a glass cup or a gaiwan for Chinese infusion, keeping the water temperature between 85-90°C. Take 5 grams of Shoumei tea and proceed to an initial wash for 10-15 seconds, then drain the water to "awaken" the aroma. The first infusion should last about 10-15 seconds, with the subsequent infusion time extendable as desired. It is possible to make 3-5 infusions, maintaining the intensity of the unique aroma and flavor of Shoumei tea.

Western infusion method
For European infusion, use a teapot, adding 3-5 grams of Shoumei tea to hot water at 95°C, and leave to infuse for 3-5 minutes. The infusion can be served directly in a cup and, if desired, a little milk or sugar can be added to enrich the flavor, making it suitable for various moments of consumption, such as afternoon tea or during moments of relaxation.

Cold infusion method

Add 5 grams of Shoumei tea to 500 milliliters of cold water and leave to infuse in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours. The resulting infusion is fresh and sweet, with a more pronounced floral aroma, perfect for enjoying during the summer. The cold infusion method effectively reduces the astringency of the tea, making the flavor smoother and more accessible, suitable for those who enjoy light flavors, while maintaining the beneficial nutrients of the tea leaves.
