Zentè is a corner of oriental peace in the frenzy of the western world, a tea house in the beating heart of Tuscan entrepreneurship.

Our History
The birth of Zentè owes its origins to Qiuxiu Cristina Hua's love for traditional Chinese culture. Born in Fujian, China, she chose Italy as her adoptive homeland in 2008. The awareness of living in a world so different yet wonderful and the desire to unite two extraordinary cultures such as the Italian and Chinese ones led Qiuxiu to create a space dedicated to mutual understanding and inclusion.

Why Zentè
Thanks to Qiuxiu, the new Chinese generations born in Italy will be able to rediscover part of their roots and, at the same time, those who have left their homeland can experience the emotion of feeling at home again.
Not only that: Zentè presents itself as an authoritative point of reference for the many Westerners who approach the Eastern tradition with curiosity.
Just as a wonderful plant can blossom from a seed fallen in a foreign land, so Zentè aims to lay the foundations for a fruitful integration between peoples.
Sharing the art of tea, incense and learning the flower ceremony is the first step to approach the wisdom of Eastern Zen, to find our true self in the chaos of everyday life.
We believe that a good life can simply start with a cup of tea!
From self-knowledge comes understanding of the world.
In Eastern culture, Zen philosophy and tea are two closely related concepts.
Tea is the national drink of China and was born as a beverage with great health benefits. It was then adopted by Buddhist monks as one of the tools through which to promote tranquility and concentration.
From China, in the 19th century, tea culture was exported to Japan thanks to Zen scholars and subsequently throughout the world.
We live in a rushing era, during which we materially possess everything we need and more...and yet people's happiness index has not improved.
Every day we are busier and more tired.
What is the reason?
In a certain sense, we have lost the ability to rest.
We must learn to slow down, to calm down, to take time and space to look inside ourselves, to live and listen to our inner voice.
Only in this way can we feel free, full of energy and fulfilled.
In spaces of silence and tranquility we can listen to the true voice of our essence and understand the truth.
