Historical Context and Origin:

Kumquat Red Tea comes from traditional Chinese tea culture, combining fresh kumquat with high-quality red tea to create a unique flavor and health benefits. Kumquat, known since ancient times as “golden fruit,” has a beautiful folk connotation of warding off misfortune, and its fresh aroma makes it highly prized in beverages.

Place of Production

This tea uses high-quality red tea mainly from southern China, especially the regions of Yunnan and Fujian, where the climate and soil conditions are ideal for growing tea plants. Kumquat mainly comes from Guangdong and Guangxi, areas characterized by a hot and humid climate, where the fruits are juicy and aromatic.

Production Process

The production process of red kumquat tea is divided into a few key stages: first, fresh and ripe kumquats are selected, washed and sliced, mixed with red tea leaves. Then, everything is properly roasted and dried to preserve the aroma of the kumquat and the body of the red tea. The entire process ensures the quality and flavor of the tea.

Harvest Season

The ideal harvest season for kumquats is generally between November and March of the following year, when the fruits are ripe and sweet. Red tea is harvested mainly in spring, usually between April and May, when the tea leaves are fresh and tender, perfect for producing red tea.

Chinese Infusion:

Take 5 grams of red kumquat tea, use a 150 ml teapot, heat the utensils with hot water first, then pour in water at about 90 ° C and let it infuse for 30 seconds, then pour. You can adjust the infusion time according to personal taste and infuse several times to enjoy the flavor variations.

European Infusion:

Take 5 grams of red kumquat tea, add 300 ml of hot water at 90°C and leave to infuse for 3-5 minutes, then drink. This method is suitable for those who prefer a more intense flavor and allows you to appreciate the unique combination of the freshness of kumquat with the body of red tea.
